ILC2015-84
Dear Epaphras,

Last week I (Steve) was in Thailand with 650 leaders in our movement for a week of prayer, intercession, worship, teaching and encouragement in Christ.  Church planters from over 50 nations gathered and the sessions were translated into Spanish, French and Arabic.  God is raising up church planters from the nations and we are privileged to be a part of this leadership body.

One especially encouraging aspect of the week was the focus on reaching refugees with the Gospel.  I was able to lead two breakout sessions on the subject and both were packed with leaders burdened by the refugee crisis and also hopeful of new opportunities to reach many yet-to-be-reached for Jesus peoples.  As you’ve read in the news, hundreds of thousands of refugees are making their way into Europe.  This is an exciting opportunity to share the love of Jesus and, many of them are very, very discontent with Islam.  We are trusting the Lord for 4 new teams in Germany, Sweden, France and the UK just to reach Syrian and Iraqi migrants.  Please pray with us for that.

Some praises :

  • Julia continues to heal well from her surgery.
  • Our local fellowship continues to grow, please be in prayer for an Iranian Muslim, A, who has been coming to our home fellowship, les bons vivants, He is not far from the Faith!
  • Tomorrow, after a long time away, we will be restarting the men’s discovery bible study.  Pray for Ethan and myself as we lead.  Pray for Andy, Will and Eric as we all grow in the Faith together.  We will be starting 1st Peter tomorrow.

Blessings in Jesus,

Steve and Sara
