In June, our church baptized two new believers
Dear Epaphras,

Thanks for praying for Julia and her MRI last month. In fact, things didn’t go as we had hoped and Julia indeed needs surgery to reconstruct her biliary tract. It’s a fairly intensive surgery with a minimum of two weeks recovery in the hospital. We met with the surgeon who, after four previous surgeries, knows Julia well and the surgery is scheduled for October 1st. We will be rallying specific prayer so please stay tuned.

Here are some prayer requests:

  • For our team leader in London, Joseph who recently lost his mother in Egypt. She was not a believer
  • For our newest area leader Allen as he leads our church planting teams in the southern UK, Wales and Ireland.
  • A colleague’s son who has walked away from the Lord – and for all our missionary kids growing up in humanistic, secular Europe
  • For our friends and partners in the Gospel here in Bayonne, Ethan and Jesse.  Jesse just lost a dear friend in a tragic motorcycle accident – the funeral is tomorrow.
  • For the local ministries we are involved in: our home group continues to grow as does the Saturday men’s discovery bible study.  Ask the Lord to lead us as we make disciples…

EMEA-athensLastly, pray for Steve as he travels to Athens next week to spend 3 days with our Area Leader there, Andrew and his family. Ask that Steve’s visit would be an encouragement. Pray for Andrew as he addresses a very delicate team issue in Albania.  Pray for our team’s outreach in Greece, asking the Lord to use the current political and financial hardships to show people their need for Him.

Blessings in Jesus,
Steve and Sara
