Dear Epaphras,

We just returned from 2 weeks of travel to Siofok, Hungary where we gathered 200 plus church planters and their families for our biennial PIONEERS Europe Region Conference, EuroConnect 2015.  Here are a few thoughts we would like to encourage you with.

  • The PI European Region is growing!  This was by far our biggest conference and is reflective of the growth of church planters God is calling to Europe.  We’ve asked you to pray that God would send more laborers to Europe… and He is!
  • Christ centered WorshipOur Church Planting teams are growing in effectiveness!  The testimonies of what God is doing in and through our teams was encouraging : a disciple making movement in Spain, an Albanian church in Athens, Iranians coming to Christ in Liverpool, Hungarian Roma turning to Christ, Syrian refugees being ministered to in Greece, a church starting in Kosovo, etc…  We were amazed at all the reports, which we will share with you over the coming weeks.
  • Our Church Planters are growing closer to the Lord.  We’ve asked you to pray John 15 (… if you abide in me and my words abide in you… you will bear much, lasting fruit) for our church planters on several occasions over the past years.  We do this because we are convinced that its His work in us that allows His work to flow through us.  Since our last conference (EuroConnect 2013 in Malta) we were encouraged by the growth our people are experiencing in the Lord.  Our members are following Jesus through hardships and difficult trials yet remain filled with joy and peace.  This was evidenced this week in worship, prayer and the love they are growing in for each other.
  • 17145088547_893ddf1ef3_kThe children of our church planters are growing in Christ.  You’d be amazed how post Christian Europe leaves children starved for the Gospel and for Christ centered friendships.  This week saw many kids recommit to Christ and develop friendships that will endure the distance.  They are already looking forward to EuroConnect 2017!

Thanks for praying with us in Europe!

Blessings in Jesus,

Steve, Sara, Annie and Julia
