Dear Epaphras,
First of all, a quick family update. This month we will be moving! Our new house is a five-minute walk from the girl’s school, in a very basque neighborhood of Bayonne, with lots of ministry and outreach possibilities. Our pastor’s family is right around the corner and good friends just moments away. Life will be easier, there will be more opportunities to know neighbors and it will save us some money not having to commute. Plus, the hospital for Julia is just around the corner… not that we are making regular visits anymore. Please pray for our integration into this new neighborhood – Quartier Marrach. Ask the Lord to open the hearts of our future neighbors, filling their souls with a hunger to know Him!
This weekend, Steve is at PIONEERS France board meetings near Valence, France. He, Charles, Philippe and the board members will be discussing some very tough issues and they ask that prayer and intercession be made on their behalf. Ask that the meeting would be guided by the Spirit of Jesus and that decisions would lead to more church planting ministry opportunities in France.
Athens… Our team in Athens has planted a church among Albanian refugees. Currently, there are 5 Albanian families who are team is working with to start this church. Ask the Lord to minister to this very needed population.
