Dear Epaphras,
This week has been super busy getting ready for our annual international meetings. So, I am sending out a real quick request for prayer as I (Steve) head off to the Philippines. I’m writing from Schipol Airport in Holland waiting for a connecting flight to Hong Kong and then onto Manila.
Pray for PIONEERS as we (7 Regional Leaders, 14 Mobilization leaders and our International Director) meet for the next 6 days to pray, strategize and plan. Together we serve nearly 3000 church planters in 103 countries.
Ask the Lord to fill us with His Spirit afresh each day as we worship, pray and plan according to His will. Ask the Lord to encourage our church planters world-wide as they labor in some of the most resistant-to-the-Gospel places on earth.
Ask the Lord to lead us as we discuss church planting strategies, leadership development, mobilization from the southern hemisphere to the north, team building, and other issues regarding world evangelisation.
Pray also that Sara, Annie and Julia would be close to the Lord in my absence. I am so grateful for Janet (our teammate) who has come from Hungary for the week. I’ll be home next Saturday.
