Dear Epaphras,

We arrived back home in Bayonne at 2AM on Sunday after a very productive three weeks in Hungary.  One of the highlights we mentioned last week was being with two church planting teams.  People are turning from their sin to Christ and both teams have planted multiplying churches.  We met several youth who came to Christ during the English camp our team ran last summer.  You will remember praying for that week of camp in July.

We gathered as a Regional team (7 area leaders, several of their spouses and our CORE team) in Ráckeve, Hungary to seek the Lord for Europe.  And we asked you to pray for us as we met for 3 full days.  As we worshiped, meditated on the Word and prayed, God led us to focus on the following for 2014 :

  • Continue developing leaders across Europe
  • Resource, strengthen and encourage our teams as they plant multiplying churches
  • Pray for, identify, develop missionary sending structures and encourage Europeans to be sent worldwide

Its a big vision that will hinge on key people.  Please pray for clarity and measurable steps as we move forward in this vision.  Also pray the Lord to bring the right people along.

Sara left to Thailand this morning for an intensive global leadership development course.  She will be there for a week with 30 other PIONEERS leaders.  Pray for her growth and learning in leadership.  Pray also for Steve who, in addition to his regional responsibilities, will be heading up kitchen duty, laundry, homework, etc.  Pray for Annie and Julia – the innocent victims of this Mr. Mom experiment.

This Saturday all missionaries currently working among the Basque, in both Spain and France, will be gathering at our church to pray for Jesus to pour out His Spirit in this region and lead many into a living relationship with Himself.  I look forward to joining them and praying for our basque neighbors and friends.

Please send us a note and tell us how we can stand with you in prayer this week.

Blessings in Jesus,

Steve and Sara
