Dear Epaphras,

Thank you for standing with Shane and Ruth last week as they launched Disciple Making Movement (DMM) training in their local church.  They had an above average attendance at their training and there is a growing excitement within the church to reach out and multiply disciples.  They thank you for praying.

In Montpelier we rejoice with our team who is implementing DMM principles.  After much prayer, Steve and Sheri felt led to distribute invitations to study the Bible in neighborhood letter boxes.  A few weeks passed and no one seemed interested.  Then they were at a friend’s house who told them they had received their invitation and were interested.  But, they would prefer Steve and Sheri come to their house instead.  And, that is what is happening.  Please be in prayer for the neighborhood of Peyrols.  Ask the Lord to draw many to faith in Jesus (John 6:55).

This week we would like you to pray for PIONEERS (PI) France.  Four years ago we merged with a large organization in France that focuses on reaching Arab speaking Muslims in North Africa and Europe.  The teams that joined PI added passion, focus and experience to our desire to see churches planted among France’s growing Muslim population.  However, for those of you who have “survived” a merger you know the shift in organization culture leaves some discontent.  Four years post merger, there are a few who want to return to the “way things were…” before.

This Friday and Saturday, I (Steve) will be joining Charles (our area leader in France) and Philippe (our national director) to visit a family in the southeast of France that is wanting to leave PI.  This family has been in ministry for 25 years and have focused primarily on ministering to needy children in a completely Islāmic neighborhood.  They have had an enormous impact.

Would you ask the Lord to bring unity in this situation?  Would you ask the Lord to guide Charles, Philippe and myself and give us favor in ministering to this family and their team.  Ask that the Lord’s perfect plan be accomplished.

In Jesus,

Steve
